I'm naming my quilt Dearest Lavender after our little calf Lavender Betty.
I've started on the pieced blocks whilst waiting for my background fabric. This one was very tricky because of the measurements - thank goodness for Thangles!
Block 1D Birds in the Air |
In future I aim to post on the 15th & 30th of the month, thanks again Karen for belatedly letting me join in.
Cheers
Carole
So glad you joined our sew along. I love your block. And Lavender is sweet. Hugs
ReplyDeleteOH I love your block!!! I am so happy you could join us...what a darling little calf! I used to live on a farm and I just love those babies.
ReplyDeleteI still live on a farm and love the babies. Now we have 5 lady goats clearing away all the grass and undergrowth around the farm house and farm yard. One keeps jumping the fence and is a nuisance but a nice one.
ReplyDeleteI gave serious thought several times about joining in but have way too much quilty stuff going on and people - little people - here all the time this summer. But there is a cow in the center. I could do a nice fawn coloured Guernsey cow.
Welcome aboard! Your block looks perfect.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful beginning for your newest quilting adventure. Little Lavender Betty looks very sweet.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful quilt. I have been captivated by it ever since I first saw it! Can't wait to see what you do with this one.:)
