II did this block differently to the original in the Dearest Boy pattern.
Instead of four circles of cherries, I chose to use one motif from Jeana Kimball's Old Voices New Impressions.

Dearest Lavender Block 1E |
Here's my quilt's namesake being taken for a walk around the garden.
I'm still playing catch up with Karen, Cathy and Julie with the Dearest Boy sew-along but I'll see you again at the end of the month.
Cheers
Carole
I made that particular cherry block a couple years ago as I have made the blocks from Jeana's book. Catch up when you can. No rush....just enjoy the process.
ReplyDeleteDo you have other animals besides this calf who is so cute!
I love your cherry block. I worked with Karen on Jeana's quilt so I too have made this block. I wish I had thought to do it again. Lavendar is so sweet. Hugs
