Hearts and Roses

I have finished Block #22 for my CCCQ.

Chester County Criswell Quilt Block #22

I'm really glad that I decided to add the red rosebuds to

Chester County Criswell Quilt Block #22

Linking up to other Block #22 photos on Sharon's blog here.

I've also been working on a bit of secret sewing.

Liberty fabrics on a linen/cotton blend background -
a luscious combination!
I've been assured that the recipient doesn't read my blog so here's my contribution block pinned up ready to sew.

Thanks for the encouraging comments on my last post, you'll be happy to know that I've decided to stay as 'Wheels on the Warrandyte Bus' :)

  2. I love your rosebuds too, Carole. Do you mind if I steal your idea for my block? It's a nice way for me to add a little yellow which I have done on some of the other blocks.

  3. I like the rosebuds too! Hmmm, if the recipient doesn't like the block, could you send it to me? Just kidding, I'm sure she'll like it. The colors are gorgeous together.

I am happy to hear you are not going to change the name of your blog. It is such a great name.
