This week has been the second week for me on the Simply Needle & Thread one hour per day challenge. I managed to clock up 7.5 hours of hand sewing - the same amount as last week!
I have been working on the 2nd block of the Chester County Criswell quilt - Elizabeth Cowan...
... and I have finished the Seven Swans are Swimming for my 12 Days of Christmas quilt.
Also started to prep the Eight Maids are Milking block.
I wonder if I'll finish it by Christmas??? I doubt it but you never know.
Cheers
Carole
I think you will finish before Christmas with 7hours of quilting every day! That's awesome and such a great ides...I may try to join you with that goal. I have so many things I Want to do, my head is swimming, so an hour a day may really help me focus. How lucky you are to get to go to Quilts in the Barn. It is a dream of mine to go someday...I hope you share some pics of the fun you will have!
ReplyDeleteGood for you for keeping up with the 1 hour a day sewing challenge! I'm afraid I didn't this past week. Your projects look great! I'm impressed with the Chester County Criswell block. Since I'm just learning to applique, I'd be a little intimidated of that one!
ReplyDeleteI like your fabric choices for the Chester County Criswell quilt.
