Dearest Boy compass and basket block

Here are my two latest blocks for Dearest Lavender, the compass block...

... and the postage stamp baskets that I drafted up myself.

I'm really happy with how these blocks turned out.

  1. I like that stripe used for some of the compass points.
Love the little baskets. I have made many of those postage stamp baskets over the years and want to make some more some day soon.

  3. The compass block is wonderful! Is there a pattern for it? I am going to google the Dearest Lavender quilt and see if I can find anything. Or perhaps I just need to do a compass quilt.

  4. Oh my goodness . . . baskets mixed with hexies . . . be still my heart! Absolutely adorable and the fabric choice is perfect, too.
    Have a sweet day.
