Last month my sister and I drove up to Castlemaine for this year's Appliqué Exhibition. It was great to be able to view many beautiful quilts up close and personal, so grab a cuppa to look at some that caught my attention for the fabrics, design, use of colours, skill, quilting and/or techniques. Enjoy!
Eye candy so beautiful, thank you for posting these lovely photos for all of us that cannot get to see them

So many beautiful quilts in the display. I can't pick a favorite but do lean toward the more traditional ones. I noticed that the quilts all seem to be machine quilted. Did you see any that were hand quilted?
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, yes - many of the quilts were machine quilted but there were some done by hand including the first one in this post 'Baltimore Album'. Cheers Carole
