Today we have a public holiday (yay!) and I'm going to try and finish getting all the borders done on Gossip in the Garden. This is when a design wall is very handy :)
And then I'll be spending the afternoon with Kate at the movies.
Then we'll probably have a BBQ.
Thanks for all your well wishes for my fractured foot recovery and have a great day fellow Aussies.
Sounds like a great plan Carole - have a lovely day! Just celebrating quietly here, enjoying the rain and doing some stitching of course :)
ReplyDeleteBefore I retired, I so looked forward to the holidays off. So many plans were made for wonderful stitching. Always more than I could accomplish but it was fun to dream and stitch.
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy quilt. I love it. I hope you enjoy your holiday.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute quilt! Bright and Cherry! Looks like you are having fun working on it.

Found the pattern on Amazon...........I ran away! LOL.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your holiday! Let the healing continue.
ReplyDeleteDid you go see The Dressmaker? If so, how was it, I loved the book and the description of the terrain and the town reminded me of my wonderful visit to Australia 15 years ago.
ReplyDeleteFound your blog through Humble Quilts. I love it. Hugs
ReplyDeleteLove your version of this charming quilt.
ReplyDeleteI hope you got a lot of stitching accomplished on your day off.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a good movie, I will have to search it out.
Missed your post about the fracture. Last year I fell backwards and had a stress fracture in my knee and torn ligament. 8 weeks of crutches and surgery, I saw a lot of comfort sewing. Hope all goes well you do beautiful stitching. I'm also putting the border on my Gossip in the garden.
