Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

I think this one of the last pieced blocks required for my Morrell quilt. I ran out of some my favourite cheddar fabric so I could only use it on every second point of the star  - the one with the white floral pattern (I have no idea what it is) but I actually think it makes the star more interesting.

    I also especially like the red striped center star within the star! Even though you've run out of the cheddar fabric, I think using it in every other point does does make it more interesting like you said.

    Super star Carole! The red in the middle is a great fabric too. The alternating points was a great idea.
