With teenage children and working full time I only get to squeeze small bits of sewing in here and there. I find hand sewing is the perfect for this. I keep telling myself it is about the journey!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5317462558936791695.post-62331096089275783012014-02-02T17:31:01.244-08:002014-02-02T17:31:01.244-08:00Your hand applique is exquisite! I love to have a long term project on the go, they bring so much satisfaction through the process and at the end (but the are times in the middle when you wonder!). I have made the resolve this year to achieve finishes. Less time on the computer, less time pondering on fabric choice, and more time spent preparing blocks, setting weekly goals and keeping a tidy, organised sewing room is hopefully going to help me. Since following your blog I have marvelled at what you achieve, definitely not slow sewing at all.Lenorahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09950001749858706023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5317462558936791695.post-46460134985737909882014-02-01T08:17:25.751-08:002014-02-01T08:17:25.751-08:00I'm with you - I, too, have seen this gorgeous...I'm with you - I, too, have seen this gorgeous quilt, but I've got years of sewing ahead of me just to complete the wonderful quilts already on my list ;o)<br />PS Love, love, love your blog!!Tinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00463874952093819545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5317462558936791695.post-22373891037966342432014-02-01T06:41:00.062-08:002014-02-01T06:41:00.062-08:00Carole, You are certainly not slow. I have the Auntie Green pattern, not the BOM, and after I'm caught up on LE, make a baby quilt and finish two other quilts, I plan to start Auntie Green. My ambitious plans are to do all of the mentioned projects in February. I am one of those ones who seems to be pretty speedy but I have lots of time on my hands to spend sewing. Plus my hand stitching got much quicker once zi started using a thimble for all my sewing, not just for quilting.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14935945785304234555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5317462558936791695.post-19889962370915977432014-02-01T01:11:31.413-08:002014-02-01T01:11:31.413-08:00Beautiful Carole!
